How Aplitar handles your information.

Effective May 14, 2026. This policy explains what information Aplitar collects, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect

  • Account information, such as your name, email address, authentication identifiers, and subscription status.
  • Applet content you choose to provide, including resumes, documents, job descriptions, notes, messages, application materials, and shared profile content.
  • Usage and technical information, such as browser details, device information, log data, approximate location derived from network information, and interactions with the service.
  • Payment information handled by our payment processor. We do not intentionally store full card numbers on Aplitar systems.

How We Use Information

  • To provide the Aplitar applet experience, including document upload, career chat, job tracking, application tailoring, sharing, account authentication, and subscription management.
  • To generate AI-assisted outputs from the materials and prompts you provide.
  • To secure, debug, maintain, and improve the service.
  • To communicate with you about your account, product updates, security notices, and support requests.

AI Processing

  • Aplitar may send prompts, documents, job descriptions, chat messages, and related applet context to AI model providers so the service can answer questions and create tailored career materials.
  • You should avoid uploading information you do not have permission to use or share. AI outputs should be reviewed before you rely on or submit them.

Sharing Information

  • We share information with service providers that help us operate Aplitar, including cloud hosting, authentication, storage, analytics, AI processing, communications, and payment processing providers.
  • We may share applet content with users you invite or with people who receive a share link or access permission from you.
  • We may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

Data Retention

  • We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain security.
  • You may delete certain applet content in the product. Some copies may remain for a limited time in backups, logs, or records required for legitimate business or legal purposes.

Your Choices

  • You can update or delete applet content through the product where those controls are available.
  • You can choose not to provide optional content, though some features may not work without relevant documents, prompts, or account information.
  • You can contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or export of personal information, subject to applicable law and identity verification.

Security

  • We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
  • If you believe your account or information has been compromised, contact us promptly.

Children's Privacy

  • Aplitar is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes To This Policy

  • We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date and post the revised policy on this page.
